Q1: |
What are the benefits of choosing the Acupuncture program of CCTCMA over others offered in Canada?
|
A: |
The benefits of choosing our Acupuncture Program are:
1.
Our faculty members are more than qualified. The majority of
our faculty members have a Master Degree or PhD in Acupuncture and
Traditional Chinese Medicine, and have at least 15 years of working
and teaching experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese
Medicine in Canada and China.
2.
Our programs were developed based on our teaching experiences
of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Australia,
Canada, USA, and China. These programs have been running
successfully for over twenty years in Northern America and
about fifty years in China.
3.
Classes are small.
4.
Student loans are available.
5.
We are pleased to offer our own, uniquely designed Study
Guides for almost every subject.
This helps our students learn Traditional Chinese Medicine
and Acupuncture easily.
6.
Our student clinic is very busy, therefore, there is a lot of
¡°hands on practice¡± of acupuncture available to our students.
7.
Studying is full time, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
You will get the training you pay for.
8.
We are pleased to offer the lowest tuition fees in
Alberta.
9.
We
are committed to offer the highest education and training of
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Canada.
10.
We are located in a central area of Calgary.
This enables easier transportation to and from the college,
including Public Transportation.

Do you offer online or distance learning courses?
And Why?

offered via distance learning are NOT accredited in BC and Alberta.
Based upon the response from the College of Traditional Chinese
Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA)
in BC, the distance learning programs are NOT accepted for licensure
in BC. Please visit
www.ctcma.bc.ca
and contact the Registrar in BC for details. Based on the response
from the Registrar of Alberta, the Acupuncture Committee has not
approved any distance learning programs in Alberta. Please contact
the Registrar of Acupuncturist in Alberta for further
information. Please also contact Alberta Learning to confirm
if any Distance Learning Program in acupuncture has been accreted.
