Dr. Frank Du
President. TCMD. MD (China), M.App.Sc (Australia). R.Ac. RMT
Dr. Du has 20 years teaching and clinical experience in TCM and acupuncture. He is a Registered Acupuncturist and TCM doctor in Alberta, Canada, and a TCM doctor and medical doctor in China. Dr. Du earned his Bachelor of Medicine specializing in TCM from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1988. He was promoted as an Attending Doctor at China Academy of TCM in Beijing in 1994. Dr. Du obtained his Master of Applied Science in Musculoskeletal Management from the RMIT University in Australia in 1999. As the founder and president of the Calgary College of TCM and Acupuncture (CCTCMA), he is responsible for the program design, curriculum development, and all academic activities of CCTCMA. Currently, he is also a professor at CCTCMA and teaches various subjects in TCM.

Dr. Wenjun Dai
R.Ac,TCMD, MD (China), PhD (Acupuncture)
Dr. Dai graduated from Guangzhou University of TCM in China in 1992. He has a Ph.D. degree in acupuncture and massage, and is a member of China Acupuncture Association. He has been practiced acupuncture, massage and herbal medicine in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM for more than 14 years. He was an associated professor of Guangzhou University of TCM, teaching international students and supervising their clinical practice. He was the chief editor and Coauthor of more than ten acupuncture and Chinese medicine books in Chinese and English. He had conducted researches in acupuncture and had his research papers published in journals. He had been a guest professor lecturing in the U.S., Chile and Hong Kong.

Dr. Wenli Wang

TCMD. MD (China). M.Sc (China). RMT
Dr. Wang graduated from Chengdu University of TCM in China in 1988. She has a Bachelor degree in TCM and Western Medicine, and a Master Degree in Acupuncture. Dr. Wang worked for over ten years at Chengdu University of TCM. There, she also instructed local and international students in TCM. Currently, Dr. Wang is a Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta and a member of the Alberta Association of TCM Doctors. It is Dr. Wang¡¯s hope that TCM can bring people a better quality of life and more people can be involved in this field.

Yanmei Li
R.Ac. TCMD. MD (China), PhD (TCM)
Dr. Li has 15 years of working experience in TCM clinical
practice and teaching. She earned her PhD in integration of
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine from China
Academy of TCM in 1995. She also earned her Master Degree of
TCM in 1989 and Bachelor degree of TCM in 1986 from Tian Jin
University of TCM. Dr. Li is an expert in the field of
integration of TCM and Western Medicine. Before moving to
Canada, she used to be a professor and senior TCM doctor in
China. Dr. Li had worked on many TCM research projects in
China and had many research paper published in China. She is
also a registered acupuncturist and registered herbalist in
BC.

Dr. Yanrong Cheng
TCMD MD (China)
Dr. Cheng graduated from Hebei university of TCM in China in
1986. She has 12 years of clinical experiences of TCM and
acupuncture in China, 2 years in Canada. Since she worked for
Beijing 307 military hospital, She had lots experiences on
treating tumor patients. She had published for papers in
national journal in China. Currently, she is practicing and
teaching TCM in Calgary and is a member of The Canadian
Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Dr. Cameron Smith
R.Ac.TCMD
Cam Graduated from the 4 year Practitioner of Chinese Medicine
program from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in
Nelson B.C. in 2004. After a year of
traveling/practicing abroad, he returned to Nelson to complete
the 5th year doctorate program. After school Cam
moved to Calgary and has been practicing ever since. Cam
challenges his students to look at the teachings in an indepth
manner, enabling them to gain both confidence and a deeper
understanding of themselves and TCM.
When not teaching or working at his private
practice, Cam enjoys mountains, snowboarding, reading, Qi
Gong, playing music, and traveling.

Dr. Melonie Jensen
RAc.DTCM
Melonie studied 2 years of biochemistry at the University of Victoria before moving onto Nelson, BC where she attended the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences (ACOS). Melonie graduated in 2001 and became a Registered Acupuncturist in BC. In 2002 she moved back to Calgary, assuming Alberta registration, and began her practice. Melonie has been teaching since her graduation, first at ACOS in 2001, and now at the Wild Rose College of Natural Healing since 2003 and CCTCMA. Her experience as an instructor includes acupoints, TCM Fundamentals, Herbology and now Gynecology. Melonie has an interactive teaching style that challenges her students while building confidence and inspiration.
Between her time spent at the University of Victoria and ACOS Melonie traveled through Central America, South East Asia and India. She studied Yoga and meditation in India and then Taiji and Qi Gong in Nelson.

Dr. Hana Stastny
MD (The Czech Republic), HD, MT
Hana graduated as a medical doctor and dentist in 1991 in The Czech Republic. Shortly after the graduation, she moved to Canada where she redirected her education to holistic medicine -- nutrition, massage therapy, reflexology and homeopathy. Hana¡¯s main passion is her work as a medical educator. She has been teaching medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, public health and nutrition) at various colleges in Calgary .She also offers courses in homeopathy. As a medical doctor and holistic health practitioner, Hana firmly believes that if the contemporary medical system is to be successful, it has to integrate all the world¡¯s proven healing systems ¨C past and present: traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy, naturopathy, energy healing systems, spiritual healing, massage and western medicine. She is proud to promote this integration by teaching in schools that offer the training in a variety of holistic disciplines.

Dr. Lareina Abbott

While teaching English to doctors in South Korea Dr. Lareina Abbott was profoundly influenced by their harmonious and effective integration of Eastern and Western medicine. This experience led her to the practice of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Abbott received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria in 1998.Passionate about the human body, Dr. Abbott has taught a variety of courses at the graduate level including Anatomy and Anatomy Cadaver Labs, Physiology, Bach Flower Remedies, Homeopathy, Stress Management and Pathology. As a physician Dr. Abbott specializes in Environmental Toxicity and Detoxification, HIV and AIDS, and Family Medicine. Dr. Abbott¡¯s pastimes include art and traveling. She has journeyed throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Dr. Chunhua Huang MD (China)
Dr Huang graduated from Weifang Medical University of China
and got her Bachelor's degree of Medicine in 1991. She has
14-year experience in teaching clinical medicine in China
and 1- year experience in teaching Chinese language in
Canada.

Dr. Ping Zhang

Dr. Zhang graduated from Guang Zhou University of TCM in 1982. He has 22 years of clinical experience of TCM and acupuncture at the Zhang Jiang Hospital of TCM in China and in Canada. He currently has a busy TCM and acupuncture clinic in Calgary, and he is the member of Alberta Association of TCM Doctors.

Dr. Min-Jung Choi

Dr. Choi obtained a Bachelor degree of Food & Microbial Technology from Seoul Women¡¯s University in 1998. She was a researcher of Seoul National University Hospital from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, she got a Master degree of Microbiology to prove anti-cancer effect from the mold, Alternaria brassicicola. She came to Canada to study TCM and she graduated from International College of TCM in Victoria in 2005. She also has the certificate in HTT (Herbal Transdermal Therapy) in East-West Medical Society and the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. She is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta.

Dr. Da (Teresa) Liu

Dr. Liu graduated from Shan Xi University of TCM in 1986. She worked as a TCM doctor, clinical supervisor and instructor for the Shan Xi University of TCM for 16 years. Her areas of instruction at Shan Xi University of TCM included Internal Medicine, Gynecology, and Pediatrics. Currently, Dr.Liu is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta.

Dr. Yong (Peter) Luo
MD (China). M.Sc (China). RMT
Dr. Luo graduated from Capital University of Medicine, China in 1986. He earned his Master of Medical Science from Chengdu Institute of Physical Education in 1991. He was a general surgeon from 1986 to 1988 and from 1991 to 2000, Dr. Luo was a Sport Physician in China¡¯s National Olympic Fencing and Cycling. Currently, Dr. Luo is a Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta.
