    • Dr. FRANK DU
    •  President. TCMD. MD (China), M.App.Sc (Australia).
       R.Ac. RMT
      -Dr. Du has 20 years teaching and clinical experience in TCM and acupuncture.

      -He is a Registered Acupuncturist and TCM doctor in Alberta, Canada. He was promoted as an Attending Doctor (TCM and Western Medicine doctor) at the Graduate School of China Academy of Chinese Medical Science of Beijing in 1994.

      -Dr.Du earned his Bachelor of Medicine specializing in TCM from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1988, and obtained his Master of Applied Science in Musculoskeletal Management from the RMIT University in Australia in 1999.

      -As the founder and president of CCTCMA, he is responsible for the program design, curriculum development, and all academic activities. Currently, he is also a professor at CCTCMA and teaches various subjects in TCM.
       

    • Dr. Wenjun Dai
    • Dean, Ph.D., R.Ac, TCMD

      Dr. Dai graduated from a prestigious Chinese Medicine university in China and received his Bachelor, Master and Pf.D degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for 20 years. Dr. Dai was a university professor and MD in China before he came to Canada. He has also been invited to teach and conduct research projects in acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the United States, Argentina, Chile, and Hong Kong since 2000. He is a member of the China Acupuncture Association. He is the chief editor and coauthor of 12 books in Chinese medicine and has many articles published in professional Chinese medical journals.

    • Dr. Yanmei Li
    • R.Ac. TCMD. MD (China), PhD (TCM)

      Dr. Li has 15 years of working experience in TCM clinical practice and teaching. She earned her PhD in integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine from the China Academy of TCM in 1995. She also earned her Masters Degree of TCM in 1989 and Bachelor degree of TCM in 1986 from Tian Jin University of TCM. Dr. Li is an expert in the field of integration of TCM and Western Medicine. Before moving to Canada, she was a professor and senior TCM doctor in China. Dr. Li has worked on many TCM research projects in China and has had many research papers published in China. She is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta and British Columbia and registered herbalist in British Columbia.

    • Dr. Hana Stastny
    • MD (The Czech Republic), HD, MT

      Hana graduated as a medical doctor and dentist in 1991 in The Czech Republic. Shortly after the graduation, she moved to Canada where she redirected her education to holistic medicine -- nutrition, massage therapy, yoga therapy, reflexology and homeopathy. Hana's main passion is her work as a medical educator. She has been teaching medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, psychology, public health and nutrition) at various colleges in Calgary. She also offers courses in homeopathy. As a medical doctor and holistic health practitioner, Hana firmly believes that if the contemporary medical system is to be successful, it has to integrate all the world's proven healing systems, past and present: traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy, naturopathy, energy healing systems, spiritual healing, massage and western medicine. She is proud to promote this integration by teaching in schools that offer training in a variety of holistic disciplines.  Hana currently divides her time between teaching at the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture and Mount Royal University.

    • Dr. ERIN TAYLOR
    • TCMD, R.Ac, RMT, BSc.

      Dr. Taylor graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Her interests in mind-body energetic medicine led her to study at the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture where she graduated in 2008 as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and a Registered Acupuncturist. She presently practices as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist while also teaching several classes at various colleges in Calgary.  Dr. Taylor is trained in Acutonics and Flower Essences and continues to research the 8 extraordinary meridians. In her free time she enjoys taking workshops to further her studies in this vast and exciting field, teaching, reading, hiking, and spending time with her dog.
       

    • Dr. WILLIAM W. HAN
    • MD (China, USA & Canada), TCMD

      Dr. Han was trained as a Medical Oncologist in China-1999. He became a certified MD by the Medical Council of Canada in 2003, after having passed MCCQE (Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination) and has been registered in the College of Physician & Surgeons of British Columbia and Alberta as a Bedside Physician since 2004. He also became a certified MD by ECFMG (Education Committee of Foreign Medical Graduates) after passing the USMLE (United States Medical License Exams). Dr. Han has been actively involved in medical education and research for the past decade, and has been contributing in various medical research projects at TCM schools across Canada. Dr. Han is dedicated to helping students explore the field of integrated medicine.

    • Dr. Atonin Kodet
    • ND, MD

      Dr. Kodet holds two doctoral degrees: N.D,  (Naturopathic Doctor,) from the National College of Natural Medicine, USA and Paed.Dr from Charles University in Prague, (graduated with honors). In Prague he completed the kinesiology, sport coaching and rehabilitation program. In addition he studied at leading European Universities and medical centers in Asian countries. Dr.Kodet taught at various universities and colleges, (medical sciences, botanical medicine, homeopathy, kinesiology-rehabilitation…) and played a key role in establishing the diploma program for Herbal Therapists at Mount Royal University.  Dr.Kodet was the first Naturopathic Doctor and kinesiologist qualified as an expert witness by the courts of law in Alberta and British Columbia.  He has written a book titled “Cook for Health, Healing and Vitality."  In his practice Dr. Kodet uses natural medicine to treat adult and childhood illnesses that do not adequately respond to conventional treatments. He has been able to help many patients who were considered incurable.

    • Dr. Min-Jung Choi
    • TCMD. M.Sc(Korea) R.Ac

      Dr. Choi obtained a Bachelor degree of Food & Microbial Technology from Seoul Women¡¯s University in 1998. She was a researcher of Seoul National University Hospital from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, she got a Master degree of Microbiology to prove anti-cancer effect from the mold, Alternaria brassicicola. She came to Canada to study TCM and she graduated from International College of TCM in Victoria in 2005. She also has the certificate in HTT (Herbal Transdermal Therapy) in East-West Medical Society and the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. She is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta.

    • Sarah Shen
    • Sarah Shen graduated with diploma of massage therapy at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2009. She got her certificate for Traditional Chinese Massage also known as Tuina in 2005 in China, and is an RMT with the National Health Practitioner of Canada.

      She received her Bachelor's degree of Western Medicine in Taishan Medical University in 1987 in China. She worked as a Radiation Oncologist in Qingdao People’s hospital for many years. and got rich experience in clinical medicine. She has been practicing as a massage therapist for four years since she moved to Canada. She can perform many different specialized types of massage therapy, including trigger point release, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, acupressure, sports massage, hotstone massage and reflexology.

       

    • Dr. Guichao Wu
    • TCMD. R.Ac

      Dr. Wu graduated from the Beijing University of TCM in 1998. He was a licensed acupuncturist in California, USA. He has 12 years of TCM and acupuncture experience in North America. He is currently a Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta.

    • Dr. Lareina Abbott
    • ND

      While teaching English to doctors in South Korea Dr. Lareina Abbott was profoundly influenced by their harmonious and effective integration of Eastern and Western medicine. This experience led her to the practice of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Abbott received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria in 1998.Passionate about the human body, Dr. Abbott has taught a variety of courses at the graduate level including Anatomy and Anatomy Cadaver Labs, Physiology, Bach Flower Remedies, Homeopathy, Stress Management and Pathology. As a physician Dr. Abbott specializes in Environmental Toxicity and Detoxification, HIV and AIDS, and Family Medicine. Dr. Abbott's pastimes include art and traveling. She has journeyed throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.
    • Dr. Wenli Wang
    • R.Ac. TCMD. MD (China). M.Sc (China). RMT

      Dr. Wang graduated from Chengdu University of TCM in China in 1988. She has a Bachelor degree in TCM and Western Medicine, and a Master Degree in Acupuncture. Dr. Wang worked for over ten years at Chengdu University of TCM. There, she also instructed local and international students in TCM. Currently, Dr. Wang is a Registered Acupuncturist in Alberta and a member of the Alberta Association of TCM Doctors. It is Dr. Wang's hope that TCM can bring people a better quality of life that and more people can be involved in this field.

    • Dr. Ping Zhang
    • TCMD. MD (China). R.Ac. RMT

      Dr. Zhang graduated from Guang Zhou University of TCM in 1982. He has 22 years of clinical experience of TCM and acupuncture at the Zhang Jiang Hospital of TCM in China and in Canada. He currently has a busy TCM and acupuncture clinic in Calgary, and he is the member of Alberta Association of TCM Doctors.
